Lucy buys too much stuff and instead of doing the easy thing and clean up, the pair decide going ‘minimalist’ is the only option. They simplify their lives, go to a wine tasting course and eliminate clutter...but not really. Is it procrastination or minimalisation? No one will ever know.
DiC decides to show Lucy how easy it is to make new friends. So he gets one, unaware that his new “best bud” is an escort. Lucy and DiC enjoy a nice home cooked meal and then get a bit of a surprise.
Lucy is fired from work for sending an innapropriate email. She denies the claims and DiC intervenes as her lawyer to get to the bottom of what really happened and to get her job back. But will it help or make matters worse? Yep, it makes matters worse.
DiC tries to make amends by starting a new apparel company called ‘Re-Brand’. Lucy wakes up to 3 ‘influencers’ in her house for a week long creative retreat to get to the bottom of what they stand for as a brand. It gets weird.
Lucy buys a ‘fitbot’ to get into shape fast, much to DiC’s horror. The apartment isn’t big enough for two robots telling Lucy what to do...so he sets about remedying this. Lucy starts off the new routine strong and motivated but things spiral a little bit from there.
New Years Eve rolls around again and Lucy and DiC read through their failed resolutions of the past year. Motivated by this and the fact that Lucy is turning 30, they vow that this year will be different. As Lucy deals with turning 30, DiC comes to the understanding that he might in fact be replaceable.
